The name's Ariael Ortiz, and I am a freelance illustrator and concept artist based in the South Texas area.
In my free time I like to draw, play video games, play tabletop roleplaying games with my friends, watch TV, and read.

Yup, that's me. Or rather, a cartoon version of myself.

1. What's with your art style?
Oh, that. So, back in middle school, I was part of an art club, and one thing I noticed about a lot of the people in the club was that their art style was based around an anime style. Me, ever the person who goes out doing things that no one tends to do, decided to not draw in an anime style and instead worked to create my own style.
2. What do you want to do in your career as an illustrator?
That depends if people come upon my work and show interest. When it comes to original work, people don't seen to show as much interest as a person who draws fan-art. But if I want to pick where I would love to go, I want to go out and make a comic to even producing an animated TV show.
3. Why don't you have any social medias? Do you even post your art online?
I did, a while back. Unfortunately, due to being unable to post art every day or every week, as well as tending to draw original content, people didn't really look at my art. I prefer to just have a portfolio to showcase my best art when it comes to applying for jobs, and I hope that no one considers looking into social medias to consider hiring me as an illustrator.
